CERSER sponsored Part 2 of the EARTH Training Workshop with Pixoneer. Dr. Mohamed Mohamed trained workshop participants on EARTH software for remote sensing education. The training consisted of three days of lecture and hands-on labs. Some of the topics covered included: electromagnetic theory, reflectance, types of sensors and characteristics, data acquisition, stereoscopy and parallax, data formats, geometric distortion and image interpretation. Participants attended from ECSU, Virginia State University, LSU, Delaware State University and Norfolk State University.
